เมื่อวันที่ 16 ตุลาคม 2568 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมะนิลา ร่วมกับองค์กรวัฒนธรรมไทย-ฟิลิปปินส์ (Philippine - Thai Cultural Organization: PTCO) และ Friends of Philippine General Hospital ได้จัดกิจกรรมจิตอาสาบำเพ็ญสาธารณประโยชน์เพื่อถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลเนื่องในโอกาสวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษาสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพระพันปีหลวง 12 สิงหาคม 2568 วันนวมินทรมหาราช 13 ตุลาคม 2568 และวันปิยมหาราช 23 ตุลาคม 2568 โดยได้บริจาคข้าวสารและของใช้ที่จำเป็นสำหรับผู้ป่วยให้แก่โรงพยาบาล Philippine General Hospital จำนวน 12 หอผู้ป่วยใน 

ในโอกาสนี้ นางมาฆวดี สุมิตรเหมาะ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมะนิลา พร้อมด้วยหัวหน้าสำนักงานทีมประเทศไทยในฟิลิปปินส์ ข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ และคู่สมรส ได้มอบสิ่งของบริจาคให้แก่ Dr. Gerardo D. Legaspi ผู้อำนวยการโรงพยาบาล Philippine General Hospital ทั้งนี้ กิจกรรมดังกล่าวเป็นการแสดงไมตรีจิตที่ดีของไทยในฐานะเพื่อนสมาชิกอาเซียนกับฟิลิปปินส์ อีกทั้งเป็นโอกาสที่ดีที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้สานสัมพันธ์และสร้างเครือข่ายกับกลุ่ม Friends of Thailand และผู้บริหารโรงพยาบาล Philippine General Hospital ซึ่งจะช่วยส่งเสริมภาพลักษณ์และทัศนคติที่ดีต่อประเทศไทย ตลอดจนส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ในระดับประชาชนให้แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้น

On 16 October 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Manila in partnership with the Philippine - Thai Cultural Organization (PTCO) and Friends of the Philippine General Hospital organized a social service activity under the “Royal Initiative Volunteers” program to celebrate the auspicious occasions of the Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother on 12 August 2025, Navamindra Maharaj Day on 13 October 2025 in remembrance of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and King Chulalongkorn Memorial Day on 23 October 2025. The Royal Thai Embassy together with members of Team Thailand in the Philippines donated Thai Hom Mali Jasmine rice and essential medical products to the 12 wards of Philippine General Hospital.

On this occasion, H.E. Mrs. Makawadee Sumitmor, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Philippines together with members of Team Thailand in the Philippines, Embassy officials, and their spouses turned over the donation to Dr. Gerardo D. Legaspi, Director of the Philippine General Hospital. The social service activity under the “Royal Initiative Volunteers” aims promote the goodwill of Thailand to the Philippines as a fellow ASEAN member. The Royal Thai Embassy in Manila also takes this opportunity to strengthen partnerships with Friends of Thailand and the Philippine General Hospital which will foster closer ties between our two peoples.
