สถานเอกอัครราชทูต

เนื่องในวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษาสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง วันที่ 12 สิงหาคม 2568 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมะนิลา ได้จัดกิจกรรมเฉลิมพระเกียรติ โดยนางมาฆวดี สุมิตรเหมาะ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมะนิลา ได้วางพานพุ่มทองและเงินเพื่อถวายราชสักการะ กล่าวถวายพระพรชัยมงคล พร้อมจุดเทียนและลงนามถวายพระพรชัยมงคล ณ ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูตฯ โดยมีข้าราชการหน่วยงานทีมประเทศไทย ณ กรุงมะนิลา เข้าร่วมด้วย

On the occasion of the birthday anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s Birthday Anniversary on 12 August 2025, Her Excellency Mrs. Makawadee Sumitmor, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Philippines along with Embassy officials paid homage to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, followed by candle lighting and signing the book to present their best wishes at the Ambassador’s Residence

เมื่อวันที่ 31 กรกฎาคม 2568 นางมาฆวดี สุมิตรเหมาะ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมะนิลา พร้อมด้วยทีมประเทศไทย ได้เข้าพบผู้บริหาร Clark Development Corporation (CDC) โดยมี Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera ประธานและเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร CDC ให้การต้อนรับ โดยได้เยี่ยมชมและรับฟังการบรรยายสรุปเกี่ยวกับการพัฒนา Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone (CFEZ) รวมทั้งได้สำรวจพื้นที่ท่าอากาศยาน Clark International Airport ณ จังหวัด Pampanga โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อแสวงหาลู่ทางในการพัฒนาความร่วมมือระหว่างไทยกับฟิลิปปินส์ในด้านการค้า การลงทุน และการท่องเที่ยวที่จะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อทั้งสองประเทศ โดยฟิลิปปินส์มีความประสงค์ที่จะส่งเสริมและพัฒนาพื้นที่ CFEZ ให้เป็นเป้าหมายในการลงทุน การท่องเที่ยว การกีฬา และสถานที่จัดกิจกรรม MICE ระดับโลก 

On 31 July 2025, Her Excellency Mrs. Makawadee Sumitmor, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Philippines along with members of Team Thailand in the Philippines met with executives of Clark Development Corporation (CDC). Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera, President and CEO of CDC received the Ambassador and her delegation. This was followed by a briefing on the development of Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone (CFEZ) and a site visit to Clark International Airport in Pampanga. The purpose of this visit was to seek new areas of mutually beneficial cooperation between Thailand and the Philippines in trade, investment, and toursim. The Philippines have promoted and developed CFEZ to become a global destination for investment, tourism, sports, and MICE events. 

เมื่อวันที่ 31 กรกฎาคม 2568 นางมาฆวดี สุมิตรเหมาะ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมะนิลา พร้อมด้วยทีมประเทศไทย ได้เยี่ยมชมและรับฟังการบรรยายสรุปที่โรงงานผลิตวัสดุก่อสร้างของบริษัท SHERA Building Solution (Philippines) Corp. (SHERA Philippines) ณ เมือง Mabalacat City จังหวัด Pampanga โดยมีนายธัญนพ จำปาศรี ประธานและผู้จัดการประจำประเทศประเทศฟิลิปปินส์และมาเลเซียพร้อมด้วยเจ้าหน้าที่ให้การต้อนรับ

บริษัท SHERA Philippines เป็นบริษัทในเครือ SHERA ประเทศไทยเป็นผู้ผลิตวัสดุก่อสร้างที่มีคุณภาพโดยเฉพาะผลิตภัณฑ์ฝ้า เพดาน ผนัง โดยใช้เทคโนโลยีไฟเบอร์ซีเมนต์เพื่อเสริมความคงทนและความแข็งแรง ปัจจุบัน บริษัทฯ เป็นผู้นำด้านผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ใช้เทคโนโลยีไฟเบอร์ซีเมนต์รายใหญ่ที่สุดในฟิลิปปินส์โดยครองสัดส่วนตลาดประมาณร้อยละ 40 บริษัทฯ ได้เล็งเห็นถึงศักยภาพของตลาดฟิลิปปินส์จึงได้ลงทุนก่อสร้างโรงงานด้วยงบลงทุนประมาณ 2.9 พันล้านเปโซ (1.6 พันล้านบาท) เมื่อปี 2567 โดยเป็นการลงทุนสร้างโรงงานในต่างประเทศแห่งแรกของบริษัท SHERA เพื่อเสริมสร้างโอกาสทางเศรษฐกิจในประเทศและส่งออกไปยังประเทศใกล้เคียง โรงงานจะสามารถส่งผลิตภัณฑ์ออกสู่ตลาดได้ในเดือนสิงหาคม 2568 โดยใช้วัตถุดิบภายในประเทศร้อยละ 95 และสร้างการจ้างงานมากกว่า 200 ตำแหน่ง

On 31 July 2025, Her Excellency Mrs. Makawadee Sumitmor, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Philippines along with members of Team Thailand in the Philippines visited and received a briefing at SHERA Building Solution (Philippines) Corp. (SHERA Philippines), Mabalacat City, Pampanga. Mr. Thunnop Jumpasri, President Country Head for the Philippines and Malaysia and other executives welcomed the Ambassador and her delegation. 

SHERA Philippines is a subsidiary of SHERA Thailand and is a manufacturer of high-quality wall and ceiling materials using fiber cement technology to enhance product durability. In the Philippines, SHERA is the leading the segment with approximately 40% domestic market share. The company saw potential in the Philippine market and have decided to invest in building a new manufacturing plant worth approximately 2.9 billion PHP (1.6 billion THB) in 2024 as its first manufacuting plant outside of Thailand to serve as future economic growth and expand export opportunities to nearby countries. With the new manufacturing plant, the company plans to supply the local market starting August 2025 while using 95% domestically-sourced raw materials. The company employs more than 200 jobs locally with plans to increase local employment in the near future.

เมื่อวันที่ 1 สิงหาคม 2568 นางมาฆวดี สุมิตรเหมาะ ได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะนาย Joel Anthony M. Viado ผู้บัญชาการสำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมืองฟิลิปปินส์ (ผบ.ตม.) เพื่อแนะนำตัวในโอกาสเข้ารับตำแหน่ง โดยมีนายรังสรรค์ ศรีมังกร อัครราชทูต นางนาฏพร นิติมนตรี อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษา และทีมผู้บริหารของสำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมืองฟิลิปปินส์เข้าร่วมด้วย

เอกอัครราชทูตมาฆวดีฯ ได้ขอบคุณ ผบ.ตม. ฟิลิปปินส์และทีมงานที่ได้ให้การสนับสนุนภารกิจของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ในการให้ความช่วยเหลือและดูแลคนไทยในฟิลิปปินส์อย่างดีเสมอมา รวมทั้งขอบคุณ ผบ.ตม. ฟิลิปปินส์ที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ อย่างต่อเนื่อง ซึ่งแสดงถึงความใกล้ชิดและความเป็น “มิตรประเทศไทย” (Friends of Thailand) ที่แท้จริง ขณะที่ ผบ.ตม. ฟิลิปปินส์ ได้แสดงความยินดีต่อการรับตำแหน่งของเอกอัครราชทูตมาฆวดีฯ และแสดงความพร้อมที่จะให้ความร่วมมือที่ดีกับสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ อย่างต่อเนื่องต่อไป รวมทั้งได้กล่าวถึงความประทับใจในการเข้าร่วมการประชุม  Directors-General of Immigration Departments and Heads of Consular Affairs (DGICM) ครั้งที่ 26 ที่ไทยเป็นเจ้าภาพเมื่อปี 2566

ในการนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือแลกเปลี่ยนความร่วมมือที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ และสำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมืองฟิลิปปินส์ จะสามารถทำร่วมกันเพื่อส่งเสริมและเกื้อหนุนความพยายามของอาเซียนในการเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือด้านการควบคุมชายแดน การป้องกันภัยคุกคามด้านความมั่นคงรูปแบบใหม่ และความช่วยเหลือทางกงสุลแก่คนชาติของทั้งสองฝ่าย 

On 1 August 2025, H.E. Mrs. Makawadee Sumitmor, Ambassador of Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Philippines, paid an introductory call on the Honourable Attorney Joel Anthony M. Viado, Commissioner of the Philippine Bureau of Immigration, on the occasion of assuming her duties. Also in attendance were Mr. Rungsant Srimangkorn, Deputy Chief of Mission; Mrs. Narttaphorn Nitimontree, Minister Counsellor and Consul, and senior officials of the Bureau of Immigration.

Ambassador Makawadee expressed appreciation to Commissioner Viado and his team for their continued support for the Thai Embassy’s mission, particularly in assisting and protecting Thai nationals in the Philippines. She also expressed appreciation for the Commissioner’s active participation in the Embassy’s activities, which reflects the close ties and his genuine friendship as a true “Friends of Thailand.”

In response, Commissioner Viado congratulated Ambassador Makawadee on her appointment and reaffirmed the Bureau’s readiness to continue close cooperation with the Embassy. He also shared his experience and positive impressions when he participated in the 26th DGICM meeting hosted by Thailand in 2023.

Both sides also discussed potential areas of bilateral collaboration in support of ASEAN’s efforts to strengthen border control, address emerging security threats, and provide consular assistance to nationals of both countries.
