Charoen Pokphand Foods Philippines Corporation donated 4,000 bags of relief goods for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan (22 November 2013)
On 22 November 2013, Mr. Thanis Na Songkhla, Royal Thai Embassy, witnessed the donation ceremony of relief goods for the victims by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. Mr. Pinij Kungvankij, Vice Chairman (Aqua Business), Charoen Pokphand Foods Philippines presented the 4,000 relief goods, in amount to 1,500,000 pesos to Mr. Asis Perez, Director, Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources.

On 13 November 2013, Mr. Pakkhapon Ngamlak, Senior Executive Vice President of Charoen Pokphand Group presented to H.E. Yingluck Shinawatra, Prime Minister of Thailand a donation of 20 million Baht for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda, which was given to H.E. Jocelyn Batoon Garcia, Ambassador of the Philippines to Thailand.

On 20 June 2013, H.E. Prasas Prasasvinitchai, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, hosted a dinner in honour of H.E. Surapong Tovichakchaikul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand on the occasion of the latter’s official visit to the Philippines and attending the 5th Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation between 20 – 21 June 2013.
On this occasion, Mr. Visit Limprana, President of Thailand-Philippines Business Council and members who visited the Philippines to attend the meeting of Thailand-Philippines Business Council, as well as Thai businessmen in the Philippines, briefed the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs on the Business Council meeting and exchange views on the opportunities to promote trade and investment between the two countries.
