On 31 October 2016 at 10.00 hrs., His Excellency Thanatip Upatising welcomed His Excellency Fidel Valdez Ramos, 12^th  President of the Republic of the Philippines to pay respect and sign the Book of Condolence in remembrance of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of the Kingdom of Thailand at the Royal Thai Embassy in Manila. Later, Ms. Cynthia Aguilar Villar, Senator and Chair for Committee on Environment and Natural Resources and Committee on Social Justice, Welfare and Rural Development also came to pay respect and sign the Book of Condolence. 

On 7  November 2016 at 15.00 hrs., Mr. Munin Paniswasdi, Chargé d’ Affaires, a.i.,  welcomed Honorable Jejomar C. Binay, Former Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines to pay respect and sign the Book of Condolence in remembrance of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of the Kingdom of Thailand at the Royal Thai Embassy in Manila. 

On Thursday, 21 May 2015. His Excellency Thanatip Upatising presented the Letter of Credence to His Excellency Benigno S. Aquino III, President of the Republic of the Philippines as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Philippines at Malacañan

On 26 October 2016, His Excellency Thanatip Upatising welcomed Honourable Leni Robredo, Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines to pay respect and sign the Book of Condolence in remembrance of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of the Kingdom of Thailand at the Royal Thai Embassy in Manila.
