Tree Planting Activity to Commemorate Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of Thailand’s 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on 12 August 2016
On 12 August 2016, His Excellency Thanatip Upatising, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Philippines and officials from the Royal Thai Embassy graced the Tree Planting Activity to Commemorate Her Majesty Queen Sirikitof Thailand’s 7th CycleBirthday Anniversary organized by PTT Philippines at Marikina Watershed Reservation, Sitio Yasiro, BarangaySan Jose, Antipolo City, RizalProvince. More than 600 participants attended the said event including Dr. J.R. Nereus O. Acosta, General Manager of Laguna Lake Development Authority and former Philippine’s Presidential Adviser for Environmental Protection and Miss Imelda Schweighart, Miss Earth Philippines 2016.
TRIPPIES Travel Show in Thailand
The Royal Thai Embassy in cooperation with the Tourism Authority of Thailand brought TRIPPIES, the Philippines' newest travel show hosted by film director Pepe Diokno and writer Jessica Zafra, to Thailand's three top tourist destinations, namely Bangkok, Khao Yai and Ayutthaya. These episodes of TRIPPIES were broadcast on CNN Philippines on 9 and 16 April 2017.
