Handover Ceremony of Donation for Typhoon Hagupit Rehabilitation Assistance
On 31 March 2015, Mr. Munin Paniswasdi, Chargé d’ Affaires ad interim, handed over Royal Thai Government’s USD 100,000 donation to Ms. Linglingay Lacanlale, Undersecretary for Administration, Department of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines, and Mr. Rodolfo Santos, Assistant Secretary for General Administration and Support Services Group, Department of Social Welfare and Development of the Philippines to assist the Philippines’ rehabilitation efforts in areas that were affected by Typhoon Hagupit (Ruby) last December.
Commanding General of National Defence Studies Institute Paid a Courtesy Call on Ambassador of Thailand
On 12 January 2015, General Surapun Wongthai, Commanding General of the National Defence Studies Institute, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Prasas Prasasvinitchai, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of the Philippines. Commanding General Wongthai was on his visit to promote Thailand-Philippines cooperation on defence studies with the Office of the Strategic Studies and Strategy Management (OSSSM), think tank unit of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
EGCO Group Participation in Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) Relief Operation
On 22 May 2014, Quezon Power (Philippines) Limited Co (QPL), the Coal-Fired Power Plant under the management of Electricity Generating Public Company Limited in cooperation with the American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines Foundation donated thirty two (32) boats for fishermen who were affected by Typhoon Yolanda at the shoreline of Barangay Brigida, Municipality of Tolosa in Leyte. The boats will be used to travel between Manila and Tacloban. All boats produced in Manila were subsidized by various companies in the Philippines including QPL.
The donation ceremony was presented by Presidential Assistant for Rehabilitation and Recovery Secretary Hon. Panfilo Lacson, Hon. Vice Governor Carlos Loreto, Municipality of Palo Mayor Remedios L. Petilla, Municipality of Tanauan Mayor Pelagio R. Tecson, Municipality of Tolosa Mayor Erwin C. Ocana together with American Chamber of Commerce and sponsors representatives led by its President Rhicke Jennings, Executive Director Ebb Hinchliffe, Foundation Executive Director Jun Salipsip and QPL's Assistant Managing Director Pantipa Moolasart.
Ambassador of Thailand hosted lunch for Miss Thailand Earth 2014
On 30 November 2014, H.E. Prasas Prasasvinitchai, Ambassador of Thailand to the Philippines and Mrs. Sandra Prasasvinitchai hosted lunch in honour of Miss Sasi Sintawee, Miss Thailand Earth 2014 at Hai Shin Lou restaurant in Makati City on the occasion of her participation in the Miss Earth 2014 Competition held on 29 November 2014 in the Philippines, which she made to top 16.

On 5 December 2013, H.E. Prasas Prasasvinitchai, Ambassador of Thailand to the Philippines, hosted a reception in the auspicious occasion of the 86th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of the Kingdom of Thailand at the Grand Ballroom, Dusit Thani Hotel, Makati City. The event was attended by over 300 distinguished guests including Honorable Jesus I. Yabes, Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs as Acting Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines, H.E. Christian Anthony Vihruri, Ambassador of Papua New Guinea and Acting Dean of Diplomatic Corps, Honorable Evan P.
